Hi, I’m Simran!
I’m a third-year pharmacy student at the University of Sydney, learning how science and care intersect in clinical practice. My academic interests orbit aged care, pharmacogenomics and antimicrobial stewardship. I’m all about finding the right pill for every problem, except my iced matcha latte addiction (I’m still trying to create a pill for that).
Indian by ethnicity and Indonesian by nationality, I move comfortably between cultures and perspectives. When I’m not studying the science behind medications, I’m usually in motion, testing new tricks on my LED hula-hoop or defying gravity on my aerial hoop. When grounded, I spend my time reading rom-coms, public speaking or advocating for vegetarianism.
This website is a space for the work I’m doing, the ideas I’m sitting with, and the ways I make sense of them.
